Roses For Sara Diptych
“Roses For Sara” developed during the COVID-19 crisis. A friend for 30 years passed away suddenly during this time. Sara was a single mother who adopted a baby from China 20 years ago, leaving her daughter Jayna alone. My execution of “Roses for Sara” is infused with pop art imagery, meant to depict brightness and joy, placed side by side with roses that are “crying” for our losses around the world.
