Ode to Robert Indiana: Love Version 1

Robert Indiana was an American artist associated with the pop art movement. His "LOVE" print, first created for the Museum of Modern Art's Christmas card in 1965, was the basis for his 1970 Love sculpture and the widely distributed 1973 United States Postal Service "LOVE" stamp. His recent passing inspired me to create a work honoring his legacy. 

Version 1 accepted into the Juried Show by Studio Montclair, "Love + Fear", Montclair, NJ, "Rumble 'n Sway" Solo Show at the Loft Artists Gallery, Stamford, CT, 2019, and "Summer of Hope" Solo Show at the Gallery at Pearl Restaurant, Westport, CT, 2020.
