There is an entire hidden world inside the center of a flower.

These compositions centers on the "heart" of the peony, utilizing a tight crop to deconstruct the flower's anatomy. The soft, sweeping petals in the periphery provide an ethereal frame for the dense, almost geometric cluster of the inner sepals and column.

These pieces pull the viewer right into the center of the flower. By getting that close with a macro shot, I've attempted to turn a standard peony into something that looks almost architectural.

The paper we recommend is Metallic Pearl Finish.

It has a unique pearlescent surface that would make the Pastel highlights appear to glow from within. 

The metallic base will make the pale green and pink highlights pop, while giving the white, eroded borders a slight pearlescent shimmer that feels intentional and high-end.
